Lowe’s Partners with GSA to Offer Discount to Federal Agencies

Whether purchasing new light fixtures for a federal building or replacing appliances on a military base, Lowe’s offers preferred pricing to help get the job done. Lowe’s has contracted with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to offer a 2 percent discount on TAA (Trades Agreements Act) compliant items at the point of sale in all US Lowe’s Stores.

Lowe’s is excited to be a part of the GSA program and pleased to offer all TAA compliant in-stock and special order items as part of its schedule, GS21F0039X. Items that may be eligible span the vast array of products offered by Lowe’s: appliances, hardware, plumbing and electrical, lighting, lawn and garden equipment, tools, cabinets and countertops, and much more. Purchasers should work with the Commercial Sales desk (located near the lumber and building material entrance) at each store to address contract questions and determine which items are TAA approved. To Purchase Off GSA Schedule
Federal agencies wishing to purchase off the GSA Schedule must self identify when requesting quotes & orders. Federal contractors who want to receive the Lowe's discount must have an authorization letter from the federal agency they are working for, giving them approval to purchase against the Lowe's GSA schedule.

Even lower prices with the Quote Support Program
For larger government construction or remodeling projects, purchasers can enjoy additional savings through the Lowe’s Quote Support Program (QSP). Project quote requests that exceed $2,500 (list price) qualify for the QSP discount, which is determined by a pricing support team that reviews each line item and applies the available discount. It is important to tell the Lowe’s commercial associate at the time of the request that the GSA discount should be included. The GSA discount will be applied at checkout, once the QSP quote has been received.

Discount exceptions
The GSA discount will not apply to online orders via Lowes.com purchases or previous sales. In addition, the GSA discount does not apply to personal purchases or the purchase of gift cards, extended protection plans, delivery or installation (labor) services.
