What’s considered a local retail competitor when requesting a price match?
A local retail competitor for store purchases includes retail stores located in the same market of your local Lowe’s store. Local retail competitors don’t include auction sites or third-party marketplace sellers. The store or Lowe’s Customer Care must be able to successfully validate the price on the local competitor’s website or ad in order to complete the price match. If the price can’t be validated, Lowe’s may decline to price match.
How do I request a price match?
Please talk to a sales associate or go to the Customer Service desk for help with your price match request in store. Price match requests from Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com are handled via phone or Chat. Please call Customer Care at 1-877-465-6937 (1-877-GO-LOWES) for a Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com price match request. After you tell us about the item and price you want to match, we’ll verify the information on a Lowe’s device before completing the price match.
What qualifies as proof of a price when requesting a price match?
If you have the competitor’s advertisement, please present the entire printed ad or a photo/photocopy of the ad. Digital versions of printed advertisements are accepted. If you found the price online, please present the price on your mobile device from a qualifying competitor's website or Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com. A Lowe’s sales associate will then verify the match using a Lowe’s device.
Price match will take into account any shipping and delivery fees. For example, if a competitor is offering an item at $50 plus $10 shipping, the match price will be $60.
Does an item have to be in stock to receive a price match?
Competitor items must be in stock on the competitor’s website at the time a price match is requested. Lowe’s can’t honor a price match request if items are out of stock at a Lowe’s store and Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com at the time of the request.
Can I apply the price match to a purchase of a large quantity of items?
Lowe’s reserves the right to limit requests to reasonable quantities. If you’re looking to buy a significant quantity of a specific item, please visit your local store to see if a volume discount is available.
Are there any prices Lowe’s won’t match?
The price match policy doesn’t apply to installation labor, clearance, closeouts, discontinued products and refurbished, used or damaged items. Lowe’s also won’t match a competitor’s rebate offers, sales tax promotions, senior discounts, buy-one-get-one-free sales or advertising/pricing errors.
Are there any products Lowe’s carries that never qualify for price match?
The following brands don’t qualify for price match: Dacor, ICON, Fisher & Paykel, Monogram, Smeg, Liebherr, Weber and Kichler.
Can a Lowe’s employee, military or 5% off credit card discount be used when requesting a price match?
These and other discounts can’t be combined with a price match. However, if there are other items on the transaction not being price matched, they’re eligible for these discounts.
Does Lowe’s match the prices of a warehouse club?
Yes. We do match the prices of warehouse clubs as long as the warehouse club is a local retail competitor and the product is identical and in stock.
Will you price match with the Lowe’s mobile app?
Yes. The Lowe’s mobile app has the same pricing and is treated the same as Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com.
How does the Price Match Guarantee apply to coupons?
Lowe’s doesn’t match competitors' coupons. Customers can either use a Lowe’s coupon or price match to a lower competitive price but not both. Lowe’s doesn’t allow coupons to be used on a product that has a price match.
What should I do if I find an item or pricing error on Lowes.com or LowesForPros.com?
